Life… On Purpose
Confidence can be a big barrier to living an intentional life. It can be challenging to stand up to the status-quo. To question the scripts you’ve been handed in life. To live life true to what YOU really want, regardless of what other people think.
Self-Trust Anniversary
Today marks the 1 year anniversary of what I’ve dubbed, “The Adventure Club Hike”. The hike when the idea for Adventure Club (and everything else it sparked) was born.
Nervous System Regulation = More Self-Trust
It’s really difficult to trust your intuition when your nervous system is dysregulated. If you’re constantly operating in survival mode, it’s hard to feel connected to the subtleties of your inner voice.
That’s why it’s not as easy as the common advice of “just trust your gut” makes it seem.
Build Self-Trust by Keeping Promises to Yourself
Self-Trust is not too dissimilar to building trust with others.
If you want to trust yourself, you have to become a trustworthy person. When I ask people how they know they can trust someone, most often the first response is something to the effect of:
“They do what they say they are going to do.”
Do something your future self will thank you for…
When you think about keeping promises to yourself, what versions of yourself do you imagine?
I wonder what might shift if you consider how your choices impact you now AND the version of you one month from now…
The Antidote to Anxiety
Self-Trust is a state of deep knowing that you can rely on your own internal compass to handle whatever is thrown at you in life.
Adventure Club: An “Off-Script” Healing Community
Adventure Club is an integrative + community-based experience designed to loosen the grip of anxiety by cultivating the confidence you need to reject unaligned life scripts and to choose your most expansive life using the Self-Trust Model.
The Self-Trust Compass
There’s no magic solution to gaining confidence and trust in yourself. True and genuine confidence is built from within, over time.
It takes time. AND. It’s worth it. Here’s how to ACTUALLY do it.
A Self-Trust Masterclass
We’re about to begin a Masterclass on Self-Trust.
Which really, is a Masterclass on Building the Confidence to Choose Your Most Expansive life. A Masterclass on Overcoming Insecurities, Over-Thinking, and Self-Doubt.
Sliding Door Moments
On this particular hike, my mind wandered to life choices and the paths we take. Not necessarily the, “do I blow up my life for this new path?!” kind of choices, but the “micro-choices”. The seemingly insignificant decisions we make every single day.
How Do You Winter? ❄️
“In winter, you are never more than a few steps away from darkness”. -Katherine May
Solo Travel. A Pathway to Self-Trust.
Each time you listen and honor your own inner compass; the trust builds. Little victories become big wins. And soon you’re moving through travel experiences with an ease you wouldn’t have recognized before. And maybe that can even translate to other parts of life. You're becoming a person you would trust.
Psychedelic Integration
Psychedelic integration is about taking the lessons from your experience and bridging the gap back to your day-to-day life. Back to your relationships with people, your work, and the world.
Somatic Experiencing Explained
Trauma is stored in both the mind and body. While talk therapy allows the mind space to heal, Somatic Experiencing addresses the stress and trauma that can get ‘stuck’ in the body.
Waldeinsamkeit
Forest loneliness. A German concept of being alone in the woods, solitude, and a connectedness to nature.
The Paradox Of Truly Knowing
If we got REALLY honest with ourselves, we already know the path that is meant for us. Or at least the first step down the path.
Calm Your Anxiety Using Your Senses
You can do this practice you can do anywhere, anytime. You will use your senses to come back to the present moment and help settle your nervous system.
Speaking Your Truth
Give yourself permission to choose. Having choice is an important part of healing past wounds. And having choice over who you decide to share your story with can be incredibly empowering. Not everyone is deserving of hearing your story or capable of holding your pain.
